Floating Sound Bath – March Sessions
Dates:
Sunday 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th March
Floating Sound Bath
Arrival: 6:15pm - Sound Bath: 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Please arrive at 6:15pm to allow time to check in, change and enter the pool calmly. The floating sound bath begins promptly at 6:30pm and finishes at 7:30pm, with a few quiet minutes at the end to gently transition out of the pool.
What should I expect? How does it work?
In our floating sound bath session, you’ll gently float on a supported platform above warm, soothing water, allowing the calming sound waves to envelop you. The vibrations from instruments like gongs and singing bowls are amplified by the water, guiding you into a deeper state of relaxation and healing, as the sound washes over you and nurtures your body, mind and spirit.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the session start time to allow time to check in, get settled and enter the pool calmly. Late arrivals may not be able to join once the session has begun, to protect the experience for others.
What music or sound can I expect?
The session is guided primarily by live therapeutic sound bowls, creating immersive sound and vibration. At times, the sound may feel loud or intense, followed by periods of quiet or minimal ambient sound. This contrast allows the body and nervous system time to settle, reset and integrate.
If you are sensitive to sound, please consider whether this experience is suitable for you before booking.
Is the session suitable for beginners or is prior experience required?
No prior experience is required.

Do I need to be able to swim? How do I get on to the floats?
Basic water confidence is required, and you should feel comfortable being in a pool environment. All participants are supported on floats throughout the session, and a qualified lifeguard is present at all times.
During the session, trained helpers will be in the water to assist you. Your float will be brought to the side of the pool, where you’ll be gently supported on and off, allowing you to safely relax and drift on the water. Support remains available for the duration of the session to ensure your comfort, safety and wellbeing.

What if I have mobility issues or injuries?
Please let us know in advance if you have any mobility concerns or injuries. We’ll do our best to support you safely, but participants must be able to get on and off the float with light assistance.
Do I have to get into the water?
We understand that some people may have a fear of water but still wish to experience the benefits of the sound bath. If this is the case, you are welcome to lie on the floats by the side of the pool, where you can still immerse yourself in the soothing vibrations and ambient sounds, enjoying the full healing experience.
What should I bring with me to my session?
A water bottle with water to stay hydrated before and after the session. Staying refreshed helps facilitate the sound vibrations as they flow through your body, enhancing the experience.

What should I wear?
Feel free to wear something loose and comfortable, with a swimsuit underneath. You won’t get wet unless you choose to step into the pool at the end of the session.

Do I need to bring an eye mask?
Eye masks are optional but recommended to support deeper relaxation during the session.
For hygiene reasons, please bring your own eye mask if you wish to use one.
Your Comfort During the Session
A thin blanket will be provided, however you are very welcome to bring an additional blanket for extra warmth and comfort if you wish.

Should I bring valuables?
Please leave valuables at home where possible. Reset with Marie cannot be responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
Can I participate if I’m pregnant or have certain health conditions?
For safety reasons, floating sound baths are not suitable for anyone with epilepsy.
In addition, the experience is not suitable during pregnancy or for individuals with certain heart conditions, unless written medical clearance is provided in advance by a GP, consultant or midwife confirming participation is safe.
If you have any other medical conditions, are under ongoing medical care, or have concerns about sound sensitivity, please consult your healthcare professional before booking and disclose all relevant information on the health disclaimer form.
For safety and insurance reasons, we are unable to make exceptions.
Can I talk during the session?
The session is similar to being in a meditative state — once the sound session starts there is no talking.
What if I fall asleep during the session?
It’s perfectly okay to drift off and our ‘helpers’ will be in the water keeping you safe and secure.
Is it normal to feel emotional during the session?
Many people experience deep emotional release. Any emotions that come up are normal and part of the healing process.
Can I turn up on the day?
No — the reason being is that you need to complete a health disclaimer in advance.
Is this suitable for children?
These sessions are designed for adults only (18+).
For safety, insurance and the depth of relaxation involved, children and babies are not permitted to attend.
Can I attend if I’m unwell?
